Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: a splash of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the peach halves cut-side down on the grates. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes until distinct grill marks appear and the fruit softens slightly. Remove from the heat and let them cool for a few minutes.
  2. Once the peaches are cool enough to handle, you can optionally remove the skin, though keeping it on adds extra fiber. Roughly chop the grilled peaches so they are easier for your blender to process.
  3. Add the grilled peach chunks, vanilla protein powder, Greek yogurt, almond milk, cinnamon, and sweetener (if using) into your blender jar. Adding the liquid first helps the blender run more smoothly.
  4. Top the mixture with the ice cubes. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds, or until the consistency is completely smooth and creamy with no ice chunks remaining.
  5. Give the smoothie a quick taste. If you prefer it thinner, add a splash more milk. If you want it sweeter, add a tiny bit more honey. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately.
